Work with young people or adults and want to gain the knowledge you need to successfully deliver a structured and exciting Rounder’s session? Then next month’s Rounder’s Activator Course is for you!

Thanks to funding from Hull Culture & Leisure ltd working in partnership with Hull City Council and Rounder’s England you can now enjoy a huge saving and pay just £10 – a saving of £20 from the usual price of £30.

Rounder’s Activator Course
Costello Stadium, Anlaby Park Road North, Hull HU4 6XQ
Sunday 6th December 1pm-4pm
Open to all over 18

But what is an ‘Activator’? ‘Activators’ are volunteers who introduce and encourage all abilities into Rounder’s in a fun, friendly and relaxed environment. As an activator you will learn to lead and organise Rounder’s activities from the planning stages, getting a warm up under way and right through to getting people coming back week after week!

So now you know what an activator does, how about what you’ll learn during this course;

  • Health and Safety (check areas, equipment, participants – fit and healthy, no injuries etc.)
  • Rounders England information (website / RM contacts / CSP contacts / Welfare Policy, Code of Ethics, Code of Conduct, Rounders England philosophy)
  • Importance of welcoming participants into a fun and relaxing environment
  • Warm up and Cool Down examples
  • Small Games examples
  • Game organisation
  • Simplified Rules

It doesn’t just stop at learning, you will also get a whole host of free goodies too such as;

  • Small games cards
  • Simplified rules sheet
  • Scorecards
  • Certificate of attendance
  • Membership to Rounders England until March 31st (Includes Civil Liberty Cover)
  • Subscription to Rounders England’s quarterly newsletter
  • Support to set up your own Rounder’s sessions

So if this sounds like the perfect course to you, don’t wait – book your place today by calling 0845 1200 177 or book online right here.
